Omitting none

Happy New Year to all! 🎆

As we begin the journey of a new calendar year, there is usually an expectation to resolve to better or change ourselves. However, I believe we are all enough just as we are and that any resolutions we make should relate to honoring all of ourselves and of each other, awakening to light of our true compassionate natures. As I read this Jack Kornfield quote today,

When you hold the whole world in your heart, the phrase is ‘omitting none.’

I was inspired to renew my dedication to the lovingkindness practice of including all beings in my wishes for safety, happiness, health, and ease. In times when violence, bigotry, corruption, and hatred seem to dominate, it is easy to get caught up in the anger and hate ourselves. Resolving to hold true to lovingkindness while still standing up and speaking out against injustice is not easy, but it is imperative if we are to honor the light within us and to shift the trajectory of hate into one of lovingkindness.

This Saturday is the first full moon of the year, known as the Wolf Moon. Full Moon’s bring things to completion, so one this close to the end of the calendar year offers us the opportunity to fully release anything we do not wish to bring forward into this new year. Please join me for Saturday Morning Yoga via Zoom at 8:30 AM MT as we show up for ourselves on the mat and care for ourselves with lovingkindness and/or Saturday afternoon from 3-4 PM at Harmonist Sanctuary for a New Year Full Moon Sound Bath to rest our bodies and spirits and open our hearts with lovingkindness. (In person and virtual options available for the sound bath.)

Dates for Full Moon Sound Baths for the winter and spring are below, so add them to your calendars! I will also be hosting a Spring Renewal Afternoon Retreat on March 28, 2026.

Mindful Self-Compassion 10 Week Course will run Wednesdays, February 11 - April 22, 2026 via Zoom from 6-8PM MT. Investment $500.

REGISTRATION is OPEN for my Spring Renewal Yoga Retreat for Women April 24-26, 2026. Treat yourself to a weekend of connection and renewal through yoga, meditation, time in nature, sound healing, and rest. Cost based on your room choice (options available on the website).
